2012 Masters Update: Peter Hanson Finishes Round At 9-Under

Peter Hanson began the day 2-under for the tournament and three shots behind the leaders but heads into the club house with a two shot lead over the competition at 9-under after a tournament best 7-under 65 in the third-round.

Hanson leads both Phil Mickelson and Louis Oosthuizen by two strokes each. Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson are tied for fourth place at 5-under.

Hanson began his third-round with a bogey on his opening hole but then rattled off eight birdies including four on the last five holes of his round. He finished five-under on the back nine and appears to be a lock for the final group on Sunday's final round.
