Players Championship 2012: Tee Times, Pairings, TV Schedule For Thursday

The first round of the 2012 THE PLAYERS Championship is underway as defending tournament champion K.J. Choi looks to hang onto his title. Tigers Woods hit the course at around 8:30 a.m. this morning and is paired with Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan.

Matt Kuchar also began his round early this morning and is paired with Webb Simpson and Keegan Bradley. Stewart Cink is scheduled to tee off at around 1:18 p.m. on Thursday and is paired with martin Laird and Charles Howell III.

Masters Champ Bubba Watson withdrew from the tournament citing the need for some time off to spend with his wife and new baby.

Television coverage of the first round will begin at 1 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel. Radio Coverage begins at Noon ET on Sirius XM.
