US Open Golf 2012: What To Watch, The Course And More At Olympic

The pairing of 2012 U.S. Open favorite Tiger Woods, 2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson and Woods' longtime rival Phil Mickelson is sure to be the biggest storyline heading into the weekend. All three of these golfers could make a case as a favorite to win this tournament.

SB Nation's Brian Floyd writes about the difficulty of winning the U.S. Open as the toughest challenge, while at the same time young Rory McIlroy was able to make it look rather easy last year with his 16-under par record setting performance.

Still, this one isn't going to be easy for anyone, which adds to the intrigue and opens up the possibilities for anyone to come out top if given the right breaks under some what bizarre circumstances.

You can find the early pairings and tee times right here.
