U.S. Open Golf 2012: TV Schedule, Live Updates, Streaming And More

More: Live leaderboard is here.

The first round of the 2012 U.S. Open begins Thursday at The Olympic Club with a full day of coverage on tap. Unlike the limited broadcast time allotted for The Masters, the USGA allows nearly wall-to-wall television coverage of the U.S. Open. This is the third West Coast venue for the national championship since 2008, with all three broadcasts enhanced by the ability to bring primetime coverage to the East Coast. It was a huge success in 2008 at Torrey Pines and it was duplicated at Pebble Beach in 2010.

In addition to the television coverage, USOpen.com will provide live video of the morning's marquee group. As you can imagine, that group is comprised of Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, and Phil Mickelson. They tee off at 10:33 a.m. ET before the broadcast comes on, but you can track their group from the very first shot on No. 9 at USOpen.com's live video page.

Thursday's First Round Broadcast Schedule

12:00-3:00 p.m. ET - ESPN

3:00-5:00 p.m. ET - NBC

5:00-10:00 p.m. ET - ESPN
