U.S. Open Cut Line 2012: Bubba Watson In Danger Of Missing Weekend

The projected cut line for the 2012 U.S. Open is currently at 8-over par which puts 2012 Master champion Bubba Watson and last year's 2011 Open champion Rory McIlroy are in danger of missing out on the weekend.

Watson was 8-over on Thursday and so far is 2-over for his round on Friday through nine holes. He is going to need to record some birdies if he hopes to get back on teh right side of the cut line. The situation already looks bleak for McIlroy who is in the clubhouse at 10-over. McIlroy recorded three birdies and 13 bogeys over his 36 holes of the tournament.

Stewart Cink isn't making plans for the weekend after a 5-over round on Friday that dropped him all the way to 12-under for the tournament.
