Brandt Snedeker continued his weekend momentum on Sunday, carding a 2-under-par 68 to win The TOUR Championship at 10-under-par. Snedeker takes home $1.44 million for winning the tournament, and an additional $10 million for winning the FedEx Cup. Snedeker's first FedEx Cup win doubles his career earnings from $14.6 million to just over $26 million.
Justin Rose, who came into Sunday tied with Snedeker, shot a 1-over-par 71 to finish alone in second place at 7-under. Tiger Woods came in tied for 8th, finishing at 2-under. World no. 1 Rory McIlroy finished at 1-under, but struggled on Sunday with a 4-over-par 74.
Snedeker doesn't have long to enjoy his accomplishments, as he'll join the rest of the United States Ryder Cup team in Chicago on Thursday to take on the Europeans. The tournament will be played at Medinah Country Club.
