Bubba Watson's strong showing with teammate Webb Simpson on Friday has earned him a spot in the Saturday morning matchups for Day 2 of the Ryder Cup. Friday went so well, in fact, that Watson and Simpson have sent Tiger Woods to the bench.
The U.S. looks to continue its strong Ryder Cup following a 5-3 Friday win over Europe. Saturday morning's Foursome matchups feature former Georgia golfer Watson with his teammate Simpson a day the two dominated Paul Lawrie and Peter Hanson 5-and-4. Watson and Simpson sat out Friday's morning session. They'll face the team of Justin Rose and Ian Poulter early Saturday.
Also on tap for Saturday morning: Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson take on Lee Westwood/Luke Donald, Jason Dufner/Zach Johnson face NIcolas Colsaerts/Sergio Garcia and Jim Furyk/Brandt Snedeker take on Rory McIlroy/Graeme McDowell.
Sitting out Saturday morning along with Woods are Dustin Johnson, Steve Stricker and former Georgia Tech golfer Matt Kuchar.
Saturday's action begins at 7:20 a.m. ET with television coverage running from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on NBC. Here are the complete tee times for the morning Fourball session (all times ET):
