FedEx Cup Standings 2012: Bubba Watson Falls To No. 10

Former Georgia Bulldogs golfer Bubba Watson fell three spots in the FedEx Cup standings to No. 10 after the Deutsche Bank Championship this past weekend. The top 70 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings are eligible to participate in the BMW Championship starting Thursday Sept. 6 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, In.

Other golfers with ties to Atlanta who are eligible for the BMW Championship include St. Simmons Island, Ga. resident Matt Kuchar at No. 13, down two spots from before the tournament. Former Georgia Tech golfer Bryce Molder, finishing ninth at the Deutsche Bank Championship, shot up to No. 45 from No. 93.

Another St. Simmons Island resident, Brian Harmon, is at No. 51 and Alpharetta, Ga. native Troy Matteson is at No. 59 after starting the tournament at No. 78. Chris Kirk, also of St. Simmons Island, is at No. 66 in the standings after starting the last tournament at No. 81.

The top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings after the BMW Championship will participate in the Tour Championship beginning at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
