The Atlanta Hawks only play one game between Sunday and Friday, when they host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, Nov. 7th at 7:30 p.m. ET at Philips Arena. The team played on Sunday night in Oklahoma City, and has a couple days to regroup before the Pacers come to town.
The break between games is good news for Josh Smith, who sprained his right ankle in the Hawks' season opener against the Rockets. He didn't make the trip to Oklahoma City with the team, and may be able to play on Wednesday. Smith had 18 points and 10 rebounds in 42 minutes against Houston on Friday, Nov. 2nd.
The Pacers, 2-1 on the season, play at San Antonio on Monday night before coming to Atlanta. If Smith can play, it will be interesting to see the matchup between him and Danny Granger, as well as how the Hawks handle 7'2 center Roy Hibbert in the middle.
