The Atlanta Hawks have a light weekend, only playing one game Saturday night, but it will be one of the marquee matchups of the weekend.
Atlanta will welcome the Golden State Warriors to Philips Arena on Saturday night, with tipoff scheduled for 7 pm. ET.
The Hawks sit just a half game behind division leaders Miami at 13-6 and could have the divison lead by the end of the weekend. The Hawks have five players averaging double figures, with Josh Smith and Al Horford leading the way with the duo averaging over 16 points a game.
The Warriors are one of the big surprises of the league, occupying second place in the Pacific Divison with a 15-7 record. The Warriors are coming off a thrilling 97-95 win against the Miami Heat and are riding a five-game winning streak. Golden State is led by the inside-outside combination of Stephen Curry and David Lee, who combine for almost 40 points a game between the two.
