The Atlanta Hawks host the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night in a match-up of two of the NBA's most surprising teams. Both teams entered the season with modest expectations, but the Hawks are tied with the Heat for the Southeast lead and the Warriors are only a game and half behind the Clippers in the Pacific. The Warriors won the first meeting between the two teams back in November, but Al Horford didn't play in that game due to illness.
Atlanta should be able to do damage in the paint with Horford and Josh Smith, as the Warriors don't really have a major interior presence with Andrew Bogut out with an injury. They will be without shooter Kyle Korver, who's been slowed by a back injury.
The Hawks will have to contend with Golden State's hot shooting back court combination of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. Both are averaging over 20 points during the Warriors' recent seven game road trip, in which they've gone 5-1 so far.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET from Philips Arena.
