The Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards 100-95 in overtime on Tuesday and lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-92 on Wednesday.

Louis Williams led the Hawks with 24 points against the Wizards, while Josh Smith scored 17 points to go with 13 rebounds. Atlanta shot 43.6 percent as a team, including a 7-24 effort from three-point range.

Against the Thunder, Atlanta battled back from a 14-point halftime deficit to pull within five points late in the fourth quarter, but it was not able to get any closer. Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 19 points and nine assists. Kevin Durant scored 41 for Oklahoma City.

Elsewhere in the NBA, the Thunder took down San Antonio in a showdown of Western Conference powers on Monday, 107-93. Jeremy Lin helped lead the Houston Rockets to a win over the Knicks in his return to Madison Square Garden.

On Tuesday, the Lakers picked up their third straight win, and the Brooklyn Nets lost their third consecutive game. The Miami Heat improved to 16-6 with a win over Minnesota.

The Clippers took down the Hornets on Wednesday, which was their 11th consecutive victory; that streak is the second-longest in the NBA. Boston handled Cleveland at home, while the Knicks bounced back to beat the Nets.
