The NBA saw some thrillers on Friday, including a buzzer-beater in Sacramento.

USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 102-94 on Friday night in Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena behind Jeff Teague's monster evening of 27 points and eight assists.

Atlanta was trailing by five going into the fourth quarter but then turned it on, outscoring the Cavaliers 27-14 in the final 12 minutes.

In California's capital, the score was Sacramento Kings 106, New York Knicks 105. Sacramento took a 27-point lead in the third quarter, only to fall behind by five points last in the fourth, and then hit a game-winning, buzzer-beating 3-pointer to win by a point.

James Johnson was the hero, hitting the shot from beyond the arc with no time remaining to beat the Carmelo-less Knicks.

The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Utah Jazz, 116-114. The Clippers won their 16th straight game, beating Utah after trailing by four going into the final quarter.

Blake Griffin had a huge night, pouring in 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead Vinny Del Negro's club to victory.
