The NBA featured a jam-packed slate of games in the first full week of December, with 23 games being played between Monday and Wednesday.
The action was highlighted by the astonishing upset of the Miami Heat by the two-win Washington Wizards. Despite a triple-double from Lebron James (26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists), the Heat were unable to defeat the listless Wizards, who are still without the services of John Wall.
The Atlanta Hawks, meanwhile, won their one game during the three-day stretch, topping the Denver Nuggets, 108-104. Al Horford led Atlanta with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
