First-year coach Kennesaw State coach Lewis Preston has an ambitious non-conference slate for the Owls that could be described as brutal. The Owls will be taking road trips to Wisconsin, Auburn and Chattanooga to start the season and also travel to Missouri during December.
Kennesaw will travel to Las Vegas to take part in the IBN Sports Las Vegas Classic right before Christmas where it will take on Tennessee Tech and either Texas A&M Corpus Christi or Bethune Cookman.
The conference slate couldn't begin any tougher than with a road trip to Belmont on Dec 1. The two teams won't meet again until February 23, when the Bruins make the return visit to Kennesaw.
