Multi-Car Accidents Mar Early Laps of Nationwide Drive4COPD 300

New, 1 comment

The NASCAR Nationwide Series season kicked off earlier this afternoon, but it’s been a short day for several drivers.

First, contact between Justin Allgaier and Brian Scott triggered a three car melee in which Scott’s Toyota suffered substantial nose damage. Sam Hornish Jr’s Dodge was also damaged, while Landon Cassill spun but avoided contact.

Then, moments ago, contact between Todd Bodine and Michael Annett triggered an accident that collected Nationwide Series title contender Elliott Sadler and Kenny Wallace. Sadler’s No. 2 Chevrolet was then hit by Mike Wallace, who spun trying to avoid the accident.
