Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix Entry List and Notes: Bill Elliott Locked Into Sunday's Race

The entry list for Sunday’s Subway Fresh Fit 500 has been released.

Forty-five cars are on the list, but one – Brian Keselowski’s No. 92 Dodge – is not expected to attempt the race. Therefore, only one of the nine teams not in the top-35 in 2010 owner points will fail to qualify.

Three cars who will attempt to qualify for the race Saturday have different drivers than they had in Daytona: Gunselman Racing’s No. 64 Toyota (Mike Bliss replaces Derrike Cope), Germain Racing’s No. 60 Toyota (Landon Cassill replaces Todd Bodine), and Fas Lane Racing’s No. 32 Ford (Mike Skinner replaces Terry Labonte).

Because Labonte is not attempting the race, Dawsonville’s Bill Elliott is guaranteed to start the race in James Finch’s No. 09 Chevrolet, courtesy of his past-champion’s provisional.

A major change regarding the top-35 rule is that the No. 77 Toyota, fielded by Rusty Wallace Racing and driven by Steven Wallace in the Daytona 500, will not be in Phoenix. Therefore, the Front Row Motorsports No. 38 Ford driven by David Gilliland moves into the top-35 in owner points and is locked into Sunday’s race.
