Kobalt Tools 400: Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, and Greg Biffle Lead After 30 Laps

Thirty laps are complete at the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas, and Tony Stewart holds the top spot in his No. 14 Chevrolet. Kurt Busch, Greg Biffle, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Marcos Ambrose round out the top-five.

Stewart moved to second when he was among several drivers who did not pit during the second caution of the race for a spin by Robby Gordon. On the restart he overtook Jeff Gordon to grab the top spot and has held it since.

Pole sitter Matt Kenseth was felled by a flat tire on the restart from Gordon’s spin, nearly collecting Ambrose as he slid up the race track. An Andy Lally spin moments later drew a caution flag, trapping Kenseth a lap down where he runs right now.
