Kobalt Tools 400: Tony Stewart Leads At Lap 100 Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson In Trouble

Point leader Kyle Busch has brought out the third caution of the race, just before the lap 100 mark of the Kobalt Tools 400.

Busch was running second to Tony Stewart when his right front tire went down, causing him to brush the wall on the frontstretch. He pitted before the caution waved for debris a couple of laps later, trapping him a lap down.

Also a lap down is Jimmie Johnson, who has languished outside the top-20 for the majority of today's race. He was lapped by Stewart on the race's 91st circuit and was unable to pick up the Lucky Dog Free Pass, as David Ragan was ahead of him and Stewart had just rolled past Busch as the caution came out. Busch recieved the free pass.

Stewart has dominated since taking the lead on the restart from the race's first caution at lap 14. The owner-driver of the No.14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet has never won in 19 previous starts at Las Vegas across Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and IZOD IndyCar action.
