NASCAR Martinsville 2011: Gentlemen, Ladies, Bald-Headed Babies and What Not, Lets Go Racing!

The engines have fired and it's time to get it on for 500 laps around the paperclip that is Martinsville Speedway. Jamie McMurray and Ryan Newman have the front row, but all eyes will be on fifth-place starter Denny Hamlin as he chases his fourth-straight and fifth overall win at the Virginia short track.

Many questions will be answered today. Can Hamlin continue his string? Can Jimmie Johnson tie Jeff Gordon for the lead among active drivers at Martinsville? Can Carl Edwards hold the Sprint Cup point lead at a track on which he's never even led a lap? And if the boys have at it, as was the NASCAR decree a years ago, who's feathers will get ruffled and will there be any post-race fireworks?

As always, SB Nation Atlanta will have all the action for you throughout the race, so stay with us for in-race updates and immediate post-race coverage!
