NASCAR At Texas Update: Clint Bowyer Leads WIth 100 Laps To Go

Clint Bower's Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet holds down the top spot with 100 laps remaining in the Samsung Mobile 500. Bowyer has never won on a 1.5-mile race track, recording his four previous wins on the flat tracks at New Hampshire and RIchmond and the 2.66-mile superspeedway at Talladega.

Matt Kenseth runs second, followed by Marcos Ambrose, Carl Edwards, and Kyle Busch. Paul Menard, polesitter David Ragan,  Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, and Kurt Busch round out the top-five.

Roush-Fenway Racing drivers have led 157 of the race's 234 laps thus far. All but Ragan are former winners at Texas. Greg Biffle runs 13th.

For the second week in a row, Martin Truex Jr. took a vicious hit, this time collecting Mark Martin and Regan Smith on lap 215. All drivers were uninjured, but their cars were destroyed. Truex suffered a stuck throttle last week in Martinsville and crashed heavilly with Kasey Kahne.
