The second half of the biggest day in American motorsports kicks off with tonight's running of the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.
FOX Sports has coverage for their next to last race of the 2011 season before handing off duties to TNT. The broadcast kicks off with the NASCAR on FOX Pre-Race show at 5:30 p.m. with Chris Myers hosting and Darrell Waltrip and Jeff Hamond providing analysis. Pre-race ceremonies kick off at 6 p.m., and then the 52nd Coca-Cola 600 takes the green flag at approximately 6:12.
Brad Keselowski has his second-career Sprint Cup pole and shares the front row with A.J. Allmendinger, who has been one of the better qualifiers of late. All-Star race winner Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, and two-time Coca-Cola 600 champion Jeff Burton round out the top-five starters.
