NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series returns on Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway for the 2012 Samsung Mobile 500. While it's still very early in the season, current standings leader Greg Biffle has an excellent chance to further his lead.
Biffle will start third in tonight's race, putting him in prime position to garner more precious Sprint Cup Standings points. Biffle will start behind Martin Truex Jr., the pole winner, and last year's defending Samsung Mobile 500 champion, Matt Kenseth.
It will be worth keeping an eye on Dale Earnhardt Jr. tonight as well, as he is just six points behind Biffle in second place. Junior's first-ever NASCAR victory came at Texas Motor Speedway, and he'll look to duplicate that success and vault into first place in the Sprint Cup standings.
