The 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings have been updated to reflect Sunday's STP 400 at Kansas Speedway. The win for Denny Hamlin moved him up one spot to No. 5 and 23 points behind the leader Greg Biffle.
Martin Truex Jr. and Carl Edwards made a big jump on Sunday by moving up two spots to No. 2 and No. 9 respectively. Truex is now 15 points behind Biffle and only two points ahead of Matt Kenseth who dropped a spot after finishing 18th compared to Truex who was second.
