NASCAR's 2013 Sprint Cup Schedule Released; Atlanta To Host Labor Day Weekend Once Again

The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule was released Tuesday. For the fifth-straight year, Atlanta Motor Speedway will host the series on Labor Day Weekend.

Somewhere, Tony Stewart might be fuming. NASCAR released it's 2013 Sprint Cup schedule Tuesday, and once again his Eldora Speedway was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps in 2014...

The slate of races for 2013 is all but identical to the 38-race marathon we're well on our way to completing come November 18. The only change comes in October. Talladega Superspeedway, which hosts next week's Sprint Cup event, will swap dates with Kansas Speedway. Kansas, which was repaved after its April 22 race, is hosting the sixth race of this year's Chase but will regain its traditional fourth spot on the calendar next year.

For the fifth-straight year, Atlanta Motor Speedway will be hosting the Biggest Labor Day Party in the USA. The Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series schedules won't be released until a later date, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at the Sprint Cup race on September 1 and assume that the Trucks will take to Atlanta on August 30 and the Nationwide teams will race on the 31st.
