Buccaneers injury report: Injuries on defense threaten Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers will host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, and if they want to put forth their best effort they'll need a few of their players to use the Thanksgiving holiday to heal up.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12, and while Tampa Bay's offense has all the momentum, the defense is threatened by injury. Of the four players who missed Wednesday's practice for the Bucs, three are on the defense. Wednesday's complete Atlanta injury report is here.

On Tampa Bay's defensive line, both Aaron Morgan and Michael Bennett showed up on the injury report. That should benefit Atlanta, whose offense has seemed to struggle in recent weeks. Atlanta bounced back after their Week 10 loss to the New Orleans Saints, but they did so while turning the ball over six times.

The complete injury report for Tampa Bay (via 620 WDAE radio):
Player - position - injury - Wednesday status
DNP = did not participate, LP = limited participation, FP = full participation
Eric Wright - CB - Achillies - DNP
Ahmad Black - S - illness - DNP
Arrelious Benn - WR - shoulder - DNP
Cody Grimm - S - hamstring - DNP
Michael Bennett - DE - shoulder - LP
Aaron Morgan - DE - shoulder - FP
Tiquan Underwood - WR - head - FP
