Coming off the biggest game of his career, Atlanta Falcons safety William Moore appears to be among the team's walking wounded. Moore sat out of Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Moore was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his two-interception, 13-tackle performance in a win over the New Orleans Saints last week.
The Falcons' secondary is already banged up, as Asante Samuel also missed Wednesday's practice while recovering from a shoulder injury. Samuel started in spite of the injury last week against New Orleans, but left early after re-aggravating the shoulder. His status for this weekend against the Carolina Panthers is up in the air, but it'd probably be a surprise if he started as the team has the NFC South wrapped up and a decent lead in the race for home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs.
Running back Michael Turner was limited in practice with an elbow injury, and defensive tackle Peria Jerry returned to the field on a limited basis.
