Falcons injury report: Asante Samuel, William Moore miss practice

Two others limited at practice Thursday.

US PRESSWIRE

Two defensive backs were the only players to not practice for the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, according to the team's official injury report.

Cornerback Asante Samuel and safety William Moore did not practice. Defensive tackle Peria Jerry and running back Michael Turner were also listed on the injury report, but they were limited Thursday.

Samuel is battling a shoulder injury he suffered against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 18. He re-injured the shoulder in last Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints in the first quarter and had to leave the game.

Moore has a hamstring injury. Despite the nagging injury, he's played in all 12 games this season. Against the Saints, he racked up 11 tackles, two interceptions and two pass deflections.

Turner has been limited the last two days with an elbow injury. Turner is coming off a strong game against the Saints, rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries.

Jerry has a quad injury and has been limited the last two days.
