The Chicago Bears are up 35-10 late on the Seattle Seahawks, putting them in line to welcome the Green Bay Packers into Soldier Field for next week’s NFC Championship Game. The game will be played at 3 pm ET on Fox next Sunday.

The division rivals have played twice this year, splitting the series. The Bears won 20-17 in Chicago while various important Packers were injured, while the Pack won 10-3 at Lambeau in a week-17 game that would’ve otherwise eliminated Green Bay from the playoffs.

The Bears finally gave the Seahawks the playoff beating that was supposed to come last week, when Marshawn Lynch and company shocked the defending champs in Qwest Field. The Hawks will finish the season a bizarre 8-10 and earn the right to draft way, way later than they probably should.

At least there’s now an argument that the Falcons didn’t catch the worst beatdown of the weekend, but you’d have to work to make the case.

Well, that could’ve gone worse. Instead of getting splattered by the Green Bay Packers, the Atlanta Falcons could’ve lost to Michael Vick or the New Orleans Saints. Those outcomes would’ve been worse, right? Right? Jesus.

The NFC Championship Game will be played at either Chicago or Seattle at 3 pm on Fox, Jan. 23.

This was an ass-whooping. Aaron Rodgers was completely unstoppable, the Falcons wouldn’t have even come close to 200 yards if not for garbage time, and the Packers very easily could’ve put up 55 points if they’d really wanted to. It’s going to be a very long offseason — until tonight it was hard to imagine any outcome to this game that would’ve soured one of the best regular seasons in franchise history, but this game more than proved the Falcons’ many doubters correct.

Still, this team has a foundation and a future. Next year’s regular season may not go as well as this year’s, but next year’s postseason will be better. How many times in Falcons history have you been confident about the team making the playoffs again the next year?

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the winner of tomorrow's game between the New England Patriots and New York Jets in the AFC Championship Game next weekend. The game will be played Sunday, Jan. 23 at 6:30 ET on CBS. If the Pats win tomorrow, it'll be played in Foxboro, while a Jets win would send the game to Pittsburgh.

For TV schedules for Packers-Falcons, Seahawks-Bears, and Jets-Pats, click here. The NFC Championship Game will be held at 3 pm on Fox next Sunday in either Atlanta, Chicago, or (believe it or not!) Seattle.

The Ravens and Steelers played a brutal, turnover-riddled game in Pittsburgh. The Steelers sort of dominated, more than doubling up Baltimore's yardage on the day, but gave away multiple easy scores off turnovers. If you like AFC North football, this was the game for you, because YECHHH. Ben Roethlisberger is your box score star by default, racking up more yardage than Baltimore's entire effort.
