As unearthed by The Falcoholic, SB Nation's Atlanta Falcons blog, from this story on the team's do-it-yourself [no Arthur Blank, literally!] offseason workouts by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's D. Orlando Ledbetter, LB Curtis Lofton had surgery on both of his knees earlier this offseason.

The defensive leader is rehabbing his legs, and began running again Monday, according to the report.

Lofton has yet to miss a game in his three-year career, but made himself a home on Atlanta's weekly injury reports in 2010, famous for their dubiousness. He still had perhaps his best season as a pro, bringing down 92 ball-carriers while recording his first career interception, his first multi-sack season, and forcing three fumbles.

From the sound of it, the former Oklahoma Sooners star will be fine for the season, assuming there is a season. Those are do-it-yourself workouts for a reason, remember?
