The Eagles will look to clinch the Southern Conference and head into the FCS playoffs on a winning streak.

In a game that will determine the Southern Conference's regular season champion, the 8-1 Georgia Southern Eagles travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina to play the 7-2 Wofford Terriers on Saturday.

The 1:00 PM EST game will be broadcast on the Georgia Southern Radio Network, which is 550 AM in Atlanta.

Both teams have lost one game in conference play; the difference in their records comes from Wofford's visit to FBS No. 9 Clemson, where they lost only 35-27 in Death Valley.

The Eagles are ranked No. 3 in the FCS while the Terriers check in at No. 9. Both are likely to have at-large bids wrapped up regardless of the outcome of Saturday's game, but the team that wins the Southern Conference will have a higher seed as well as more home games in the FCS playoffs.

Emotions will be high on both sidelines, as Georgia Southern ended Wofford's season last year with a tight 23-20 victory in the FCS quarterfinals.
